Godfrey: Solution of the Kosovo Issue Possible in a Year or Two
Ambassador to Serbia Anthony Godfrey said that Kosovo problem is not small, but he is still optimistic that a solution will be found in a year or two, Serbian media reported on Thursday. Godfrey said that attention paid by the U.S. President Donald Trump to signing of the agreement on normalization of economic relations between Belgrade and Prishtina, gave new energy and new impetus to U.S. and Serbia relations.  “We are continuing intensive cooperation with Brussels on that, and there is no change in our position that the EU should lead an energetic and purposeful dialogue with Serbia and Kosovo on resolving political issues,” Godfrey said ...Full story can be read through subscription.
