Thaçi and Kurti “Dispute” at Constitutional Court
Kosovo’s Constitutional Court ruled on Tuesday as unconstitutional the Government’s decision to restrict movement of citizens due to coronavirus pandemic, KAG correspondent reported. The Court answered to President Hashim Thaçi, who challenged the Government’s decision taken on 23 March on restriction of movement of citizens to prevent further spread of coronavirus. Following the measures, President Thaçi said the decision was unconstitutional and addressed the Constitutional Court for an interpretation.  The Court ruled that Government’s decision, dated 23 March 2020, is not in compliance with the Article 55 [Limitations on Fundamental Rights and Freedoms] of the Constitution.
